The basic philosophy of the Apple's Preschool at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church is to enable each child to discover their fullest potential, to be caring, creative, happy, be responsible, spontaneous, and independent through a well-rounded program enriched with a Christian emphasis. We will strive to meet the emotional, social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual needs of each child. Our days are filled with the following: morning meeting, structured play, teacher assisted learning craft/activity for our theme of the week, clean-up time, snack, circle time, story, movement and listening group activity. We also incorporate into this schedule our special party days (holiday/birthday) at the appropriate time. We also enjoy field trips, holiday programs, a closing program, and a family picnic at the end of the school year.

​The preschool is for children ages 3 through 5 and is taught by a staff of qualified and experienced teachers.  All classes are taught in our bright, spacious room located in the church's education wing and is handicap accessible.
