Though many of you already know me through my many years serving as the Pastor of Christ, Lower Saucon, and, additionally, as your interim before your former pastor was called, I’d like to share a little about myself. Throughout my 30 years of ministry, I have been called Pastor B, Pastor Lisa, or Pastor Borrell. Please take your pick … just don’t call me late for supper! I am a native of Allentown so I know the Lehigh Valley very well even though I am still capable of getting lost. My husband, Christopher Geist, and I went to Jr. High and high school together on the east side and reconnected after participating in several alumni events at Dieruff three years ago. (Funny how those things happen!) We tied the knot on 10/14/18, recently bought a beautiful ranch home, and became “parents” to a v-e-r-y active and ridiculously adorable springer spaniel, Emmy Lou, who enjoys aggravating our three cats. Chris has four grown children and we are happily expecting the arrival of a grandchild next month. We are taking pleasure in the little garden we planted this summer as well as eating the fruits (or shall I say, veggies?) of our labors and look forward to traveling in our own country and abroad when it is safe to do so. We both feel incredibly blessed that we’ve found each other in this later stage of our lives.
