The children and teachers of Apple's Preschool have had a very busy month. Our new school photographer, Kim Carson, was awesome with all of the kids and we are excited to see how she captured each one of their personalities in our class photos!
We were so excited to return to Trauger's Farm Market for our fall field trip and it was worth the wait. Our hayride took us through their fields and we got to see Miss Laura pick carrots, yams, broccoli, eggplant, leeks, turnips, and much more. Everything that was harvested for our trip, we got to pick through and take home with us, along with a pumpkin for each of us. Afterwards we all enjoyed their apple cider and popcorn.
Mr. Randy Yardumian, a firefighter from Dewey Fire Company, visited our PreK class to teach us more about fire safety. We have been having fire drills and learning how to Stop, Drop, Cover, and Roll!
We secretly made a big birthday card for Pastor Lisa and surprised her with it after she came to read to the children. The Wonky Donkey is hilarious and she did an amazing job and we're not sure who had more fun ... the children or Pastor Lisa! She cannot wait to come in and read the sequels to us in the near future.
The children also made individual birthday cards for a special quilter who has a birthday on Halloween. We will surprise her next week!!!
We all are excited to celebrate at our Fall-o-Ween parties. Please check out the church website for updated photos and a link to our Facebook page to see their cute costumes.
Thank you to Manny of the Food Bank for allowing our PreK Class to visit the Food Bank. They are trying to comprehend what it is all about and they are eagerly bringing in spare change to "feed" our Giraffe bank. This money will be used to sponsor as many children of the food bank that we can for Christmas gifts. The PreK Class will help to wrap the gifts for which they’ve saved so generously. We are looking forward to filling up our Food Bank Collection Box outside of our classroom many times. Time to give thanks for all that we have and share God's love in many ways.

Our schedule and tuition rates will be as follows:
Three Year Old Class to be held on
Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. OR 12:30 to 3:00 p.m.
Tuition is $160/month
Pre-K Class to be held on
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00–11:30 a.m. OR 12:30–3:00 p.m.
Tuition is $200/month

Our program consists of four classes designed to fit the needs of every student and their family. Through many learning activities, crafts, songs, books, and much more, children are engaged to learn their letters, numbers, colors, shapes, patterns, opposites, rhyming, sequencing, size, etc., along with writing skills. With a soft Christian environment, children are guided through their days to share and care, while using their imaginations and energy to fill our spacious classroom with joy.
