May God fill you will his New goodness everyday in 2019 and may the love of Jesus overflow from you to others throughout the year!
Siblings in Christ,
During the season of Lent, when we gather together for worship, we will be reflecting on the Lord’s Prayer; its meaning, purpose, and intent. As a way to prepare for this time, I invite you to consider how and when you came to know the Lord’s Prayer. Who taught it to you? Which form or version is most familiar to you? If you are able to recite the Lord’s prayer by heart, what comes to mind as you pray it? Do you find the prayer to be adequate? If there were an opportunity to add to the prayer, what would you add or change?
As you ponder these questions, I encourage you to talk about these questions and your responses with your friends and family.
I look forward to seeing or hearing from you soon! Have a blessed Lent.
Peace in Christ Jesus,
Pastor Lauren Applegate

February 2019 Summary
Due to inclement weather on council meeting night, the meeting was postponed until Tuesday, February 19, 2019. I will include updates for both the February and March meeting in next month’s newsletter. Although we authorized the work on the organ to begin, some issues have come to light which will be discussed on February 19. The agreement of sale for the Christ, Lower Saucon property has not yet been hammered out and also will be discussed on the 19th. We plan to hold the congregational meeting as soon as we have all the details to present. It is possible that everything will have been taken care of and voted on by the time you receive this newsletter. We will make every effort to keep everyone updated.I ask for your continued prayers for all the council members and all those in leadership positions for this congregation.
